I recently bought 3011012 crossing gates by MTH I installed them and one worked properly and the other went down and would come back up or stop flashing. I thought i wired it wrong but after doing all different kinds of wiring combos i took the crossing gate apart and found that the white wire had a broken connection @ the circuit board. does anybody know if you can solder the wire back on to the board or should i send it back to MTH or any other suggestions?

I would definitely send it back to MTH for a replacement. Call them Monday to get return authorization.
I had the exact same problem with one of these about 2-3 years ago only it was a red wire. I think mine went down and never went back up if I remember right? Took it back to my LHS and they tried to get another one from MTH. MTH was out of them so they tried to fix it. It works, but not quite like the other one. Then we moved and it was packed up for a year or so. My warranty is long gone now.
the problem is i took it apart to see what the problem was will the still honor the warranty?
Don't know, but I told my LHS what I had done (I also took mine apart) and as I said they still tried to get MTH to replace it. Which I think they would have if they would have had one to replace it with.
