Building a Town

I decided to demo my small storage yard on my layout and replace it with a town featuring Woodland Scenics buildings. This was quite the process so I figured I'd document it for those interested in taking on a similar task down the line. The best way to do this was to film the process from start to finish. This took about four weeks of work, mostly weekends and late evenings. More scenic elements will continue to be added as time goes on. I believe this is a big upgrade from the yard.

Your scenery is very realistic looking.  While driving across the country last summer I pulled into a town in Minnesota that looked just like this scene.  I look forward to seeing your progress and updates here and on YouTube.  As jdstucks said... I'm taking copious notes.
