Some can, and do compete online. Have you checked? Yours just may have a site.

do they work on Lionel warranty products ?
I also can vouch for Phil's (Wurlitzer) JRJunction store as a great one to shop at - I have bought several engines, RTR sets, rolling stock, preorders, and accessories from him over the years - in his store (about 80 miles away), at the Syracuse train show, by phone, and online. They also have great service if you need repairs, with fast turnaround and reasonable prices.

Yes we do. We are an authorized Service Station for Lionel and National Authorized Service Center for MTH.
We discount labor and parts on out-of-warranty repairs for customers that purchased the item from us originally and get priority attention.
(Another reason to support your local hobby shop if you have one!)
If I come in with my engine that's under warranty could you fix it on the spot? Having smoke unit issues
Long after you have forgot what you paid for something, you will remember who you bought it from. If we succeed in starving out all of our local hobby shops in order to save a few cents, we won't like the future source of our RR supplies.

went to visit my brother when he lived in Sanford North Carolina!!!
He took me to a local hobby shop down there, I was looking for Standard gauge track to complete my loop around the train board on the floor. Already had the curved sections and needed some straights.
walked into this local shop near Sanford NC, they had ALL O gauge stuff. Guy behind the counter asks "can I help you". I tell him Im looking for some Standard Gauge track.
he says "come with me". we go out back and he had ordered a Standard gauge set and a box of standard gauge 48" straight sections for a guy, but the guy died before it came in.
Was sorry to hear the passing of a fellow train man. The dealer gave me a good deal on the box of new track as he couldn't sell it otherwise.

Depending how busy we are. My service technicians are generally here on the weekends and some weeknights. If we cannot fix it for you while you wait, when parts are in stock it can probably be repaired by the next day. A sales receipt within one year of purchase for trains sold by Authorized Lionel dealer is required for warranty repairs.

My local LHS is over 70 miles away. I go when I'm in the area. However, I ordered your STD Gauge xmas trolley and can't for it to get here. First time I ordered from you guys and it was a very pleasant experience.
