My adult son is thinking of attending on Thursday. He wants to show my grandson the operating layouts in the Black, Orange, and Purple Halls. Does he need my signature to register as a guest?

If he has never been to York he can get a badge to see the whole show. This is a one time deal. After that he has to become a TCA member to see the whole show or otherwise be limited to just the dealer hall.

The crew at the registration tables act as their sponsors. Its been that way for about 6 years now.
