I need to know what this electrical connector is called.(male and female pieces) It's the same one used for the proto sound 2 battery and also the lights on many MTH engines. I want to make sure I have the right information before I buy some of these in bulk. Thank you Erik

Hmmm, "made by Molex"?...GGG?
Allelectronics has a bunch of different type connectors

Dale, I think he wants a specific connector.
That one was posted here some time back, but I can't find the post right now.

I believe they are referred to as small battery connectors and I think Mouser or Digikey stocks them. I may be able to find the PN's later today.

I'd like the part number as well Rod. I keep any I come across on conversions, but I like to keep those numbers on file for when I'll need time. You'll need the number for the pins as well for the female connector.

Look carefully at the connectors. If embossed with the numbers 5264 (cable-side) or 5267 (board-side) and the pins are spaced exactly 2.50mm apart, then look up the Molex SPOX 5264 or 5267 series (they mate to each other). The cable-side is the one that needs crimped inserts. "Everyone" carries these.

I keep all the connectors I run across in conversions and repairs, you never know when you'll need one.
For $10 you can have a lifetime supply of 1.5V bulbs: http://www.ebay.com/itm/MP2MMW...;hash=item51b326ec1c
Here's a brighter one that obviously also consumes more power: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lot-of...-leads-/121194277746

The MA rating times the 1.5V is how much power they dissipate. However, somehow I got the wrong link for the second set, those are not 1.5V bulbs.
