I want to use a DPDT relay  it is a 9v rated 420 ohm relay but picks up dependably at 6v. Will the relay cause any problems with the board, having more inductance, than the 6v bulbs it would replace? I would use this to control 2 pin Red/Green LEDs for directional marker lamps.          j

Yes, like most boards switching negative returns. Kind of the 101 of modern electronics because N-channel MOSFETs have lower ON resistance and it's easier to implement the gate drive, compared to a P-channel MOSFET switching the positive or "high side".

Also- purple wire is PV (Positive Voltage) more or less + right off the main rectifier.

Yes, and remember that the diode should be reverse polarity to the coil energizing power, we're trying to kill the inductive kickback.  The cathode (band) should be to the positive PV voltage.
