Can I use my SC-2 with the newer Layout Control System (LCS). If so what do I need?

The SC-2 will work just fine alongside whatever LCS components you may have now or in the future.
There is one caveat: If you operate your layout with the LCS iPad App, an SC-2 manufactured before 2013 will not respond to commands from the app with 100% reliability (maybe 90%, but not 100%).
An SC-2 manufactured from 2013 forward will have 100% compatibility with the iPad App. You can readily identify the updated SC-2 because the screw terminal block connectors are green.
