I'd like to install capacitors in my Atlas CZ cars to keep the lights from flickering. Im not the best at electrical stuff, so if someone could recommend a specific product to use it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Do these cars have a DC system or do they run from ac track power? Caps only help with dc systems (rectified some wave). There are a number of threads describing how folks have added diodes and caps.
None of my Atlas CZ cars flicker. Make sure you have clean track, rollers, (if 3-rail) and wheels. Use a contact cleaner. Otherwise use 2 AA batteries for lighting. Opening those cars and installing electrical parts is not for the novice.
The cars function off of either AC track power or DC AAA batteries. I prefer to use track power so I don't have to use the switches underneath the cars. My track and the pickups are clean so I would like to add capacitors if possible.
my guess is using track power means diode rectifiers and like Tom says taking the cars apart to hide the components and tie into the existing wiring. I am away from my computer but try searching threads on leds in passenger cars and you should find a number discussing what you need. GRJ has also designed a small package that might simplify things. Check the Henning web site.
Can you open the car and post photos of the electronics and existing lighting? A suitable capacitor would be only, say, 25 cents...but as Walmart Tom suggests it may be a challenge to install. Hence some photos would help us see what you're up against!
