Tried building some experimental catenary using the techniques described by Don McCuaig in issue 264 using Marklin stamped ho catenary wire.  Quick and easy to build, the wood dowel and brass rod are available from any hardware store and you can even power it if you want to.  I'm going to be building a new MR layout with an electrified section and really wanted to have catenary on it and this looks like it will do the trick.  Painting the pole and cat wires and adding a telegraph cross arm plus actually soldering the cat to the brass rod are still to go but so far I think this is the quickest, easiest method I've found.  Thanks Don for the idea!
