I checked my Niagara tender and it is one solid die cast piece - There are no separate coal pieces. This is the Century Club Niagara from Lionel - Not the separate sale PT tender they offered a couple of years later
I can confirm 100% that the Niagara tender is a cast coal load and the separate sale PT tender that came years later was upgraded with a real separate coal load. I have owned both.
