Changing Directoins

This year on my Christmas layout I experienced a problem like never before…while running my PW 44 ton Switcher it would stop and I would have to hit the directional button to get it to resume…it did this in numerous spots on the track and after I would change it from one loop to another…

Running on all PW track and with a KW transformer, O-22 switches…

Any ideas…???

Sounds like something needs cleaning - track, wheels, reversing unit, roller pickups.
