If I have an MTH locomotive repainted into a custom road name, can the engine name and cab number which shows up in DCS remote or application be reprogrammed to match the new name and cab number?
If so, how is the reprogramming done? I presume it's not a consumer-level capability.

In the remote:
Menu-System-Engine setup-Edit Engine-Edit Name/Edit Address
If you do a factory reset, the custom name is lost. The only way to get a permanent name is to use the Dealer Loader.

Found that one out with a renumbered engine. Wish that was available to the general customer base.
