Cheap Source of Out Of Stock Connectors

Just a "heads up" if you're looking for connectors that are out of stock at most major distributors right now.

I also have a kit of the JST-XH connectors coming.  I haven't found a bulk source of the JST-EH connectors, still looking.

If you order stuff from digikey it will come. All my order said out of stock, but it all came within two weeks.

Sid, that obviously depends on what you order and when they are getting new stock.  The JST PHR-3 and PHR-4 connectors have been on back-order for a couple months and no sign of those coming either.  That's why I got the ones I posted.

I've had several other parts on order from Digikey for months as well, and they haven't come yet!  Put an order in for the United Chemi-Con EMZS350ARA681MJA0G and let me know when you get it.  Hint: no time soon!

News flash, there's a components shortage, lots of stuff is long lead times and no stock!  These are not normal times in the electronic supply business right now.

John, I have foind the same thing; JST-EH seem to be hard to get.

Interesting sequence of events on the AliExpress site.  I clicked on the link and it showed one box with free shipping.  When I increased the quantity to 2, there was a $3.07 shipping charge.  When i took out the second item, the shipping charge, rather than going away, changed to $2.94.

So i just cleared my cart and left the AE website, went back to the link, which once again came up with a quantity of one and free shipping.  So I clicked on buy it now and got it with only the Virginia State sales tax ($0.21) added.  If I decide I want two, I'll just place another order for one more.  Not hard to play their little game.

I just ordered one of them, then went back to the page and ordered another one.  Funny thing, they both came in the same package, and the total shipping was free.  I've done that with a number of things on AliExpress, I'm not paying shipping on something listed as free shipping!

You don't have to leave the site, just refresh the page and it returns to the zero state.

Yep, those seem especially difficult to find.  I found a lot of the EH contacts on AliExpress and ordered those, I have a LOT of Lionel cable assemblies of various descriptions and connector sizes, so I normally don't have to look far for the connector bodies.
