Todd,

Thanks much, I believe I stole the idea from you awhile back, I was waiting for 031 FasTrack but they screw up the engineering and it will not fit inside the 036, when I saw what you did I used the idea.  Meant to thank you last year but forgot to do it.

Hope all is well out in San Diego, and Merry Christmas!  Definitely agree about the RealTrax being problematic, but it does work well when the kinks are worked out.

Jerry,

I actually have 2 the 2nd one holds a Green light bulb instead of a tree, and I am about to purchase another one holding the Christmas tree for the oppsite end of the

street car line.   Got to admit I like them big time, because of the child hood memories.

The 3 Tin Plate Crane Cars are all Lionel originals, 2 mini 2660's and one 810 from the 263E Work Train.

Todd,

You hit the nail on the head, the 031 FasTrack road bed is to large go inside their own 036, who ever engineered this track at Lionel, needs to do a little better engineering, I figure he lost Lionel millions in track sales.   Both this design engineer and his boss need to realize they lost the Lionel Company big big money.  Because I am a professional Engineer, for the life of me, I can not understand this kind of engineering mistake.

John Clifford,

You can always shrink the RealTrax oval a might, but there are certain engines and long rolling stock that I do not run on the inside RealTrax oval.  I engineered these two ovals fairly close on purpose, I wanted that effect of trains wizzing past each other in oppsite directions on the layout.  Looks kind of cool also when staging work areas.

Work Continues on the Pine Creek RailRoad Christmas Layout, as the 3 Cranes are brought into unload some of the boxes on the ERIE Gondola, even with the chase of illegals under way.
