It seems the Art Deco Cincinnati Union Terminal is undergoing extensive structural renovation. It is now the Cincinnati Museum Center. It has been many years since I visited the museum, but as you may know, they had a large S Gauge layout as one of their displays. It was of downtown Cincinnati in the 30's Some of the significant buildings modeled were 14 feet tall, as I recall.

I am wondering if anyone reading this has visited the museum in the last few years. Most of the museum is closed for the renovation. I hope the layout will survive. But reading their press release, it seems they are now touting their "Holiday Train" display. I hope this does not mean their fine layout is replaced by gaudy, festive holiday trainage. The press release states there was severe water infiltration of the roof, so I am concerned. Water and a model city do not mix well.

So, just wondering if anyone has some first hand knowledge of what is happening there.  The S Gauge display in particular.
