I will be doing a considerable number of structure kits by the end of the year and I could use some suggestions for some long clamps. I researched the Irwin Quik clamps but the longest I could find was 12" and I will need some that are longer. What do you folks use for quality clamps when building structures? Thanks !

Yes. Also readily available at your local Big Box hardware store. While you are there, check out the accompanying "corner" clamps.
Eliot,
When I do Korber buildings, I use the close-pin type clamps at the corners, since most of the buildings have the corners built out. I do not use clamps when putting together any structure that I can use Plastic-weld or Bondene glues for.

Sears had a very nice set of Clamps at one time.
10 clamp set, I purchased (2) additional clamps.

Any clamp 'long' enough to do what you want will be beefy so if not careful you can bend a plastic wall. These clamps are also inappropriate for laser cut wood walls - way too thin. With that said I do use the longer Bessy style clamps only because I have a collection from my wood working days.
Best bet are what are called 'corner clamps'. Micro Mark among others sells different types. One I use on occasion is shown below. It is not strong but helps me line up a corner and functions as a third hand.
Another version I own but meant for wood working is shown below. These are called 4-way corner clamps however you need to use all 4 to make this work
This is called the long right clamp. It allows you to add glue on the inside. These are expensive. I have not tried them as yet. They are not really that long for O scale so you may need one at the top and one at the bottom of each corner.

Many thanks, everyone, for such informative responses.
