All:
Those of us who've worked with the styrofoam love the flexibility and ease with which you can shape mountains and landforms. But if you're like me, you also hate how the little shreds of it go everywhere. I'm having trouble getting a vacuum cleaner to pick it up off carpet. Plus it seems to get an electrostatic charge and ... we'll I've got a few choice words for it.
From now on, I'm not doing any of the work on the layout. As big a PITA as it will be, I will take measurements, do the cutting and shaping either in the workshop or outside, and then test it on my layout. Repeat as needed.
But does anyone have suggestions on cleaning it up (getting the flecks out of carpet)?
Thanks!
George
