Coal and oil area | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Hi all
Was trying to figure this part of my layout I would like to finally begin working on but wanted to get some ideas from here. I would like to incorporate a coal and oil scene on a narrow part of the layout where ther will be two track siding. Would this cause too much clutter? I already have a coal tower on one of the tracks and wanted to add a fuel station on the next track. Here is the pic. My whole layout is a around the wall in my garage that is 2 feet wide. Or maybe I need to choose one, either a coal or oil scene?

do some paper mock ups of the facilities that you intend to use.

Lay them out on the train board to see what fits and what looks good.
