I have a small layout that I try to have a lot of scenery while running large scale engines. I just added this coaling yard and was thinking about submitting these to OGR magazine. I know the pig puzzle in the back ground needs to go.

Very nice!
BigSO6 That is very nice love the engines.
Looks great!!
The yard is nicely ballasted. You might consider a backdrop to further enhance your efforts.

Golden Gate Depot, Sunset Thirdrail offering, may be 15 years ago. There were a couple of added pieces, (independent/not from Sunset, concrete footings, and a dump house. There was discussion about the stairs not to scale. Model came complete, assembled, except for coal chute chains, in a display , open front box.
The coaling tower was made by Golden Gate Depot. The yard light is a old Marks tower. I want to add some figures and maybe a water spout.
How did you make your chain link fence?
I used corrugated cardboard along the back edge of the plywood that was glued on. Then I used just a woodland scenic chain link fence kit.
