Does anyone know of a source for fake cobblestone that can be used for simulating a road ?? Printed on heavy paper or even embossed. Thanks

Some vendors on ebay sell embossed paper that could be used for cobblestone roads or walls. Not very expensive.either. I bought some a couple of years ago. The paper is like vinyl wallpaper. Also check Micro-Mark for their stock. Evan Designs, Clever models, etc. Look in the Scenery Sourcelist!
Have you tried Scenic Express?
Embossed plastic sheeting from a variety of sources. This one was from Plastruct.
The trouble is that this guy keeps trying to cover it up - says asphalt is more modern!
I wish he'd leave the street alone and pull some of those weeds growing around the sidewalk instead.

Check out Euro Rail Hobbies on line. They have cobblestone roads in O Scale.

Norm, I am not familiar with Andy. Does he have a website or advertise ?? Thanks
Convincing cobblestone (or most any other texture) can be easily carved into pink foam insulation. The disadvantage is the thickness.
Jim, it's Downtown Deco, he has these on his eBay store.
I knew this going to be a good thread when I saw the title. Man, that is some good modeling. Really nice.
I've used this-

Filled with a little Spackle, some flat paints, it can be nice. Plus its cheap and thin.
Thanks to everyone for all the info and sources. They are being evaluated based on practicality and cost. The are to be covered if rather large. I love the looks of cobblestone roads and streets but usually seen today poking up through worn asphalt. Thanks
Gee, I thought this product made by a well-established hobby supplier worked quite well!!.....
One of our (LHS) customers who exclusively models military...dioramas, etc....loves this new stuff! It comes in O- and HO- and N-suitable sizes.
Yes? No?
