We just finished up this firehouse for a customer and friend. This is the Fire Museum, located in Columbus, Ohio. Like many of us, I had to get creative about how to make certain items, like the turrents on the tower. The finials are actually pen tips...... the rest of the model, just grinding it out.

Not that I have seen a whole lot of other firehouses, but, but....fantastic. I can't imagine a more impressive firehouse model.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone! This model was such a mix of old school hands on, and new school technology firguring out how to do layers and 3D rotary engraving. It's actually a complimentary piece for the Columbus Engine 10. I'll be posting pics of that model a little later on.
