I wish to post this LAYOUT DESIGN here.  What you see here is the 3D illustration using RR-Track.  The main bulk of the subway related details remain in the Subway Forum, so please go there for subway details.  I am using Atlas track for the entire layout, but the switches can be kind of flaky.  My benchwork is in modules mostly constructed using 1/2-inch plywood supported by 1x4s and using 2x4s for legs.  Upper level has varying degrees of wood either 1/4- or 1/2-inch-thick oak, Sandee, birch, or standard plywood.  Need to keep it light because some modules will be raised on hinges. but use 1x2 pine cross sections to prevent sagging.

Joe, It looks like a great layout design from what I can see in the captures in your initial post.  I don't have access to RR-Track, but that's okay.  I found this thread https://ogrforum.com/...-layout-2-0-progress  I see at a quick glance it answers a lot of my questions.  What a great looking layout!  I'll have to take time to read it all.
