Hi all, currently on one segment of the layout I have two independent loops. Each is powered with a Lionel Powermaster and two 180 powerhouse bricks. The ground rails are tied together on those two tracks. I would like to add a TIU to control MTH PS2 and Ps3 trains. Am I correct in assuming that the Tiu should be powered only by the power port (round barrel jack on the side)? There should be no power coming into the input side of the TIU. If I connect the power and ground of the output side of the TIU of fixed 1 to one loop and the power and ground on the output side of the TIU of fixed to track 2, is that the preferred method of proper connection in passive mode? Since the grounds of the two tracks are connected do I still need to attach the output side of the TIU to both tracks? Any tips and tricks would be greatly appreciated.
