Control Switch for O22 Turnout

I would like to use a smaller control switch than the Lionel OEM to operate my O22 turnouts. Does anybody know the current draw of the switch solenoid? Or any recommendations for switches that can be used? Since most of my turnouts are Ross with DZ1000 controllers I was wondering if I could use the DZ1002 control switch to operate my Lionel. Then all control switches would be alike on my control panel.

A standard C&K (or clone) mini toggle will do fine. You want a SPDT center off model with the "return to center" feature, aka momentary contact each way. The mini switches are rated at 6A, more than sufficient.

The DZ-1002 is a SPDT switch but I believe it is not a momentary contact type. You can check this with an ohmmeter.
