What is the best way to turn sections of track power on and off with Lionel TMCC switch and accessory controller. Can this be done? My track is a bookshelf type above a bar and I would like to use remote

Power goes in to center terminal. Power out is from the 'out' terminal. It is a sustained contact. The straight term. is momentary. Depending on how many of the six ports you need don't forget to set the SC2 for 'all' accessories. Tells how toward the back of the manual.
Also isolate the 3rd rail from the main line.
