Hello
Would someone please explain conventional operation to me?
I understand how increasing voltage via the transformer will result in greater amperage flow through the motor windings and thus greater speed but how is the bell or horn operated? If the middle rail is the only connecting circuit to the engine how does it control different circuits in the engine? Does pressing the horn button result in increased voltage that exceeds a diode set voltage in the engine and allows current to flow to the horn circuit?
Thanks for any help just trying to understand finally how the engines work.
