Hi all,
I'm hoping to get pointed in the right direction. I have a layout with multiple loops connected by switches that I need to wire. I'm looking for a good resource to show how to wire the interconnected loops together. So far I have only come across DCS or TMCC but I only want to run conventional. Thanks in advance and I'm sorry if I missed another post that already explains this (through searches I haven't found any)

check out greenberg's book on wiring your layout. It has a ton of good diagrams illustrating where to put insulator pins etc. I used it to build a three loop layout and I can run individual transformers or run one transformer over the three loops (one train). Should show up on Amazon.
This is also pretty good for wiring instructions.
Wiring Your Toy Train Layout by Peter Riddle
This one is about the size of a piece of paper or OGR magazine (8.5x11), they also have a smaller size book (maybe 5x7 or 6x9?) with a similar title. I didn't think that was nearly as good as the one linked above.
