I stumbled across this on the sale page of the TCA Museum Online Store. Only $15. Made in USA and O Gauge. It was interesting to me so I decided to order. They may have a few left. I have never heard of the Manufacturer...Sunset Trains & Toys.

I believe he still has some inventory he sells at York. I have a few of his pieces. Sunset was quite prolific with their representations of the Flyer 1107 Pullman
but my favorite is this morris boxcar.
they also did a Hafner Overland Flyer coach and quite a few buildings.

Was this a small hand-made operation?

I don't think it was hand-made, but it was not a large-scale business. Jerry Loman was/is the owner, Steve E. has kept in touch with him. Steve also has/had an O-gauge Sunset passenger set from 2009 listed on the buy/sell forum.
Any idea when this car was made for the TCA Museum?
One man operation.
Any idea when this car was made for the TCA Museum...or in general when this line of tinplate was being manufactured so I can date the piece?
Try contacting Jerry and ask him when he produced them.
