Both are graphite based, one has copper in addition to the graphite. It conducts electricity better but also causes more wear on the commutator it rubs against, aka the brushes "last" longer but at the expense of additional wear on the part they are rubbing against. Graphite will conduct but not as well as a copper graphite mix and it has lubricating properties. It will require more frequent cleaning and changing as it's softer and more prone to wear.
