In a conversation with Master Model Railroader #202 James Kellow, I learned that Ronald R. Rise achieved Master Model Railroader and was a three rail modeler. Jim knew him personally for many years.
Ronald R. Rise was Master Model Railroader number 167.
Therefore, the conversation on this Forum about 2 years ago seeking the name of the only and first three-railer to become a MMR and thought to be John Siegel #601 was incorrect.
To the very best of my knowledge on this day October the 25th of 2022 the answer of the first three railer to become a master Model Railroader is Ronald R. Rise.
