Crow River Products Derrick

Any one have knowledge of this kit or suggest another Derrick of some type for a port scene.

I have not built that kit but I do like Crow River products.

 

The barges in that scene look great.

Nice.  Would you also like a dragline (like the one they showed at York a year ago)?  $8500 unpowered.  A mere $1500 upgrade adds power and lights.

I don't know the kits but yours looks pretty nice.

 

I did see some harbor eqipment that were custom made but are static but do have lights.

 

 

Thanks for the suggestions.  Most of those cranes are pretty big for my layout.  I have 24" by 18" area to fill with some kind of industry located away from the "big city".  I have picture below showing the real estate I plan to use for it (not landscaped, in front of the blue comet).

 

 

After looking at all the alternatives posted, that Crow River derrick looks pretty nice. $5,500 for a model crane is just... I don't know... way, way out of my league.
