Culvert loader / unloader

Hello all,

New poster here.  I am doing some research on Lionel's various re-issues of the culvert loaders and unloaders.  I would like to add them, as my two boys love the operating accessories but I am somewhat concerned at some of the problems I am seeing, reported here and elsewhere.  I would appreciate hearing from those of you who have the accessory and if folks have thoughts on whether certain versions are better than others.  Also not sure if TMCC is fun or something else to break.  Thank you in advance.

Hi RL NYC,

  I recently purchased the Lionel Bethlehem Culvert loader and unloader.  I have used them the last three friday nite while running my trains.  They work great.  The only problem I had is with the unloader.  It has a tether that goes from the light house to the magnet that lifts the culvert.  That got caught up on the light house.  Easy fix with a zip tie and no more binding.  As far as Legacy, it is great.  Hope you get both of these they are fun to have on the layout.
