For years I've wanted a firehouse for my layout, however no manufacturer has made one that I would like. My layout is meant to be 1910-1930, so their really aren't many options. Last month I picked up at the Allentown show four IHC O gauge buildings, one of them, the "apothecary" shop, has the right look fire a very early firehouse (large door like window and the single door to the right) so I got to work. First thing I wanted was a bell tower, so I built one using styrene, and trim/detail parts from Grandt Line. Here is the progress so far!

The bell tower addition really sets this model off. It looks great!
Firehouse update, belltower painted, more trim added, new fire truck aquired (it just fits inside) all windows that survived being removed prior to painting were reinstalled. I am 3D printing new windows for the front, and have to fix some orange peel on the front as well. I also have "coach" style lights to install in front. I'm also looking for firefighter figures that would fit my time period, anyone have leads on where I can get some? I've only seen modern ones .
