First, thanks to everyone, especially all of my past and present customers. I've enjoyed working on custom paint jobs for many years. However, our 3 boys are so busy right now in sports, I do not have any additional time to devote to this portion of the hobby. In light of this, I'm not taking any new projects, at least for several months. I am going to finish the few projects I have in my shop now, and then hold off for a few months.

I have a backlog of emails to respond to, and certainly appreciate everyone's interest. But at this point in time, I'm putting my boys and their activities at the head of the list.

Thanks again to everyone.

Jeff, Good Luck with all the things the boys are into. Thank you for your friendship and all the wonderful projects that you have done for Alex,Chad and I. Please let us know when you a re going to be back into the hobby.

You are doing the right thing for your family. You special talent will be missed by the hobby.

Jeff,

You made the right decision for your family. All the guys on here will tell you that these are the very best years of your life doing things with your kids. You can make such a big difference in their lives by being involved in their activities, and you only get one chance in life to be a great dad.

Thank you for the little job you did for me a year ago in custom painting a little red and yellow A. C. & Y. caboose. I love it! (Akron, Canton & Youngstown)

Best wishes,

Bill

Hey Jeff....excellent decision ....I support your priorities.

Yinz Country music fans have no doubt heard Phil Vassar's ballad "Don't Miss Your Life".....there's a lot of truth in that song.

Your kids are only kids for a little while, then all of a sudden they are grown up and asking you to look after the grandkids for a few hours......just as my wife and I did today. Hard to believe how fast time passes....sigh.

At any rate....be a good Dad...you'll never regret it, and besides....to kids..... Time= Love      not money or 'things"......Tom in Picksburgh

Way to go Jeff, your family is more important then the money you can earn making toy trains pretty.

I had to make a decision to pass up big money jobs travelling so I could be at home with my son as he was growing up. The lower income did hurt but we managed to make ends meet. All said and done I think it was a good choice, I'm close to my son and he has turned into a fine young man.

So God Bless buddy, let us know when your ready to work your art.
