My local CVS drug store had a full display of vintage diecast vehicles in 1:24 scale. I picked up a 1969 Type 2 VW van, a 1948 Chevrolet Aerosedan Fleetline, a 1941 Chevrolet Special Deluxe convertible and a 1940 Ford Sedan Delivery (panel truck) for about $12.99 each. Beautifully painted and detailed with opening hoods and trunks. The Chevys and Fords also have interior and engine detailing. All VERY nice models at an affordable price!

Great for standard gauge or G layouts!
CVS does offer some vehicles and they rotate them to bring in different vehicles as they sell off their inventory. Tractor Supply also has a nice collection of vehicles in several different sizes. tractor Supply also has a lot of nice farm vehicles (like tractors, go figure).
I especially like these Welly UK 1:24 vehicles (made, of course, in China!). The finish, detail level and opening doors, hoods and trunks are hard to beat at $12.99 each! And those 1940's vintage Chevys and Fords are also a draw!
