Dallee Grade Crossing Controller with Bell Sound

I need a grade crossing bell sound for use with my MTH #30-11014 Scale Crossing Signals. I am not satisfied with the bell sound module supplied with the MTH signals.

I have looked at the Dallee Grade Crossing Controller #587 as a replacement. The retail price is $129.95.

Are there other products available similar to the Dallee sound board that I could use?

See attachments.

What about one of the ITT HQ grade crossing sound modules?

Presumably you've dis-assembled the MTH accessory and found the wires that get powered or switched when the sound is active.

Or, if you have an actual MP3 or whatever recording of the sound you want, and the issue is the continuous looping not provided in most low-cost programmable sound modules, then that's a more interesting topic but one step at a time.

ITT HQ Grade Crossing Traditional Bell Sound Module

I have listened to the sounds from this module.  The manufacturer has 4 different railroad crossing sounds to choose from. Appears to be a good product for crossing sounds.

Traditional mechanical grade crossing bell sound module from Innovation Train Technology. Sound module measures 1.5" X 3.0" X .4" and consists of a voltage regulator, sound chip, amplifier, volume control and terminal strips. Runs on 9-18v DC, 4-18v AC or 9-12v battery.
