getting ready to order,will 3rd edition,cover everything i need to know?. wifi,explorer,running conventional. does 3rd edition cover all thats in 2nd edition wifi companion book?. thanks.

No, it does not.
The DCS Companion 3rd Edition is dedicated to DCS using the DCS Remote. It also has sections regarding the DCS Commander, DCS Remote Commander and the standard version of the DCS App.
The DCS WiFi Companion 2nd Edition, which is my newer book, discusses using the DCS App to control DCS with the DCS WIU or the DCS Explorer.
