Is there a way to force the DCS loader to always use one specific COM port. It always resets to Auto and takes forever to realize that my TIU is on COM 1 while is scans all of my virtual COM ports for other devices.

I know that you can select a COM port, but I would prefer that it always uses COM 1 when the program starts.

Not to change the subject, last week I tried to install 6.1 on my TIU that already had 6.0 installed.

I tried 2 different computers windows 10 and windows 7.

Both times the TIU found port 6 successfully but still couldn't install the update. I tried many times but finally gave up

I ended up at Eastside trains in Kirkland WA and it installed with no problem.

Why would this occur when I did earlier updates with no

problem in the past?

Thanks

Barry, that only works once. Then when I load the next TIU, i need to select the Com Port again. It takes the DCS Loader program a while to scan all of the virtual com ports that have been created by different Bluetooth and USB devices attached at one time or another. It would be nice if the loader would be able to save that communication configuration or if the was a way to set a default Com Port.
