Dead American Flyer L2001

Hi all,

I was wondering if you guys could give some advice on something for me. I have an American Flyer L2001 that used to run, but stopped running some time ago. Is this an easy locomotive to repair, or should I just buy another one?

The engine's value is $39 so easy to replace. Easy to repair if it is a simple problem and you have the parts. You could just get a running chassis from another Casey Jones and place it inside the shell.
