DECALS FOR "O" Gauge

You'll be getting an email from me soon.  I'm in the need for some decals for the old Norfolk & Portsmouth Belt Line, some buddies on the forum here are helping me out with the artwork so I'll keep you in mind.

 

Always nice to have another source for anything O scale!

I've had the pleasure of speaking with you in the recent past. Your website is "1st Class". I should have my artwork for my Std Gauge decals to you soon.

You can purchase decal paper at those Big Box Arts & Craft stores or from guys on ebay.

Print them on your ink jet printer & spray with a dull coat lacquer.  

Gary, not if you need white decals on a clear background, been there, couldn't do that

 

The last batch of yellow/dulux gold decals I tried to make (N&W) looked good but when I out them on the model they disappeared, the ink wasn't opaque enough.  Earlier attempts worked fine so that was nothing more than operator error.  Ended up buying 2 old sets of Champ decals to do the job.

We print all decals with one of our 6 ALPS machines.
You are not restricted to any certain colors that know know of.
Cost per sheet or decal set is determined by what the decal / decals are. Full
color, color & white, white, metallic, etc.
The art work is up to the client or we can do it, your call.

I have an immediate need for custom decals, white lettering only.  They should be standard fonts,  but non-standard spacing.  What kind of file format do you accept for the art work?  Specifically, will you take MS Power Point or a jpg?

Now that Champ Decal Co. is long gone, are you able to "duplicate" a Champ set, such as a CB&Q or SP multi color set with logos?

I need sets of these.

Can you do them in O?

 

 

If you have an original set or if you have photos & exact measurements in
millimeters for everything in the set / sets. Colors are no problem as well as
METALLIC DULUX GOLD decals.

No problem. You must furnish better photos and exact measurements of everything
in each set you want in millimeters. OK?

That is GREAT news, Dave.  I've been hunting NP NCL O scale passenger decals for months w/o success, so getting them from you is terrific news.

 

For other forum members, I sent Custom "O" Decals"/Dave photos of an NP NCL passenger car I'd done years ago along with the decals' dimensions in mm's on Sunday, March 8.  He called me that same day to discuss my project and how he works; what they can do; and, etc.  Very knowledgeable and good guy to talk with.  I'll let you know how my experience works out--I'm optimistic.

Dave, forgot to ask...the decals are ready to be used right, no need to coat them with clear coat first?

     Yes, they are ready to go. No coating before using but be sure to read the instructions that come with them. I suggest that you use the description banner to practice with before you go for the gusto ( final decal application).

I could send you my 1978 Walther's Decal Catalog and you could just start reproducing everything in that catalog! We would all be happy.

 

All kidding aside, I will be contacting you soon regarding Tennessee Central decals.

I saw tender lettering on your decal page, but they were black.  Most tenders are black to start with.  

 

Do you supply tender lettering in white?

     Please check the description it should say WHITE TEXT. All of our decals may be purchased in almost any color you want including metallic gold & silver plus DULUX GOLD.

You may be the guys I'm looking for. Over the years I've been kicking around the idea of a Glow In The Dark train but it seems most decals come in white and very few I like are in black. If you're able to print in any color I may have found a way over that hurdle.
