With a pleasant evening's work this Frosty Bar has an interior. The floor has been painted in a checkerboard pattern, a chest freezer and upright cooler are made from scrap aluminum ,a prep counter is made from plastic scraps from the junk box, and a mop bucket is a plastic mini-blind pull. The mop itself is 1/16" dowel and the bucket is filled with white glue (which turned a nice brown when it dried). Now my little people have something to look at inside.

Great details, looks fantastic! Terry
Looks nice. What paint did you use on the equipment right behind the ice cream guy? its very shiny and looks realistic and very good!
Very nicely detailed... but I don't think Jon taffer would approve of the exposing mop bucket...
and the bucket is filled with white glue (which turned a nice brown when it dried)
Thanks for the comments, guys.
Lee, the equipment is unpainted - just the natural aluminum. The floor is good old Testor's, my go-to enamel since the late 50s for a great many projects. The inside of the walls is the unpainted plastic.
prr: Who is that chap, and was he around in 1960?
This was one of my favorite Plasticville buildings. Very nice upgrade.
I have book marked this page for when I get to the buildings on my new layout. I am not too proud to copy a great idea!
Very cool! Matt
Makes me want to be sitting at that bar and enjoying a burger and fries...and of course a side order of ice cream!!

All contributions welcome. Very attractive job. The Frosty Bar is so open that it just cries out for interior detail.
Well done!
