I am looking for sources for a diesel shed either a kit or one already built. I have seen some in the past but never thought I was going to ever need one, until today, so i didnt save them.
Well Dave at Crescent Locomotive Works sells them already built and his work is top notch. They are available in different sizes at very reasonable prices. It's an older style brick building. His prices are at the bottom of this page:
For a more modern concrete building, Pecos River sells a modular kit that you can build to your own dimensions. Actually John has a couple different styles of diesel service buildings. His buildings are here:
I have David's 36" diesel shed. Please go to scherbear57 on YouTube to see how outstanding the shed is. Understand it arrives finished with lighting and interior detail. How the railroad world does not scoop up his work is a mystery.
Sorry Rich I forgot to mention that one cuz before you took over Korber, it was never available. I tried forever to find one and the extension for it. I ended kitbashing a Pecos River one to a 3 stall, 2 long ones of 39" and the shorter one of 24". I'll get some pix of it up soon. The bandsaw I got for Christmas is what I needed to finish the kit bash.
