I am in the process of reviving a dead PS 3 diesel using a Dallee Eunit but I'm not sure how to properly connect the directional lighting.  I know I need at least a reistor to cut the volts but do I need a rectifier as well?  Should both be installed  together inline to all wires leading to the leds  I will try to use the existing led lighting in the loco shell. The loco has dual leds for both forward and reverse.  Would I need to install the resister and recifier inline to both wires leading to the leds  or just connect the led wires together as one unit.  Or should the resistor and rectifier just be installed in the input power source and that will take care of all existing leds.

Sorry if this is not well stated but I don't know what I'm doing and I don't want to ruin all my leds.
