Looking for a good table top display case to get my Post War Santa Fe 204 AA set. Anyone have a preference to a manufacture that makes a good UV resistant acrylic one?

I bought from casesforcollectibles.com. Go to their site, then look under Acrylic Display Boxes (the top left product type) - they have a price calculator where you put in the dimensions of the case you want and options you choose like a mirrored back, etc. and get a price and can order it. Took about ten days: they actually custom build it for you. I got a simple clear case with black base, 34 x 7 x 7 to display my third rail 2900 Northern for $105. Very nice case.
Lee, when you have a chance, would you mind posting a picture of your engine?
Here it is in the case. I posted a review of it with photos when on the layout on Feb. 28th of this year.
Best bang for the buck is Dave's Bases and Cases 989-792 1652.
He sells at York and direct. I don't think he has a website. Bases are wood and he uses real glass no plastic. Prices tend to be less than half what I have seen acrylic cases sell for.

Pete is right. Bases are solid oak with glass. Available with or without a mirror in back. I have about 25 or so of them. They come in all sizes & Dave will custom make one for you.
