I think you will be able to add and run the DCS app to other Apple devices that are registered to your apple i-tunes profile but if you want to operate on the other (Android) platform w/ your kindle you'll either have to use the free basic Android version app or pay for one of the two upgrades.  I think Barry B. posted this info somewhere w/i the DCS forum.

It would be nice to have a DCS subscription that was good across both Apple and Android platforms but that is usually the exception and not the rule.

This cannot happen since Apple and Google aren't likely to share their iTunes and Google Play, respectively, hosting revenues. However, all that's required is to license one copy of the app for each platform, if you use both. The Amazon Kindle falls under the Google umbrella, since it's an Android app and is hosted by Google Play.
