i am pretty handy with soldering iron, gun whatever and i take the atlas track joiners and solder black for neg and red for pos and put them on the rail line about every 3-4th piece of track, why?

If there is any kind of spark it will leave a carbon footprint and after time it will build up and become a resistor and you will see voltage drops where you do not want them  so i do this, but i am pretty handy with that stuff (your tax dollar, USMC Comm/Elec school 29 palms cal  three times including micro miniature repair soldering with gold)  so why not use that on a board??
