I am starting to accumulate some Ross track for a future layout (hopefully). I prefer the look of it over Gargraves and I would like to know what pins you use on your track and what fiber pins you use ? The only pins I have been able to find are the Gargraves 803-3 and the Gargraves 800 fiber pins which are smaller. Does Ross make their own or are these the pins to use ?

Ross has their pins on their website.
You can use the GG pins or the Atlas rail joiners..

Yes, they do. Go to the Ross Custom Switches website (click on their logo that is above right on this page) and click on 'Accessories' in the Shop by Category.

As far as I know Ross and Gargraves use the same steel pins. For insulated center rails. In a yard. I just use the built in design of the Ross switch that isolates the center rails. I believe if you go with the Ross ready switches the rails are all tied together. I either use nothing or a piece of styrene glued in place and filed to match the rail profile any place else. Wasn’t aware Gargraves made insulated pins.
If you are buying Ross track I would think there are pins included. #903 is a package of track pins, #904 is a package of insulating pins. Be gentle with the insulating pins as they can break if not inserted straight. I have also used Atlas track joint clips and insulating clips with Ross. You might have to pull a track spike or two to slide these on.
You will also need black #4 screws. Ross has them but you can also buy them from McMaster-Carr.
Gargraves Pins, left. Ross (smaller) pins, right.
