What does the Pullman car represent?
Do you ever run the Yampa Valley Mail?

Late 1950's. In the Summer's the Grande leased Pullmans such as this 3/6 Glen series and a few others. This model is a heavily modified and modernized PSC brass import like its 1:1 counterpart used specifically on the Rio Grande in Betterment paint.
You can see one of these leased cars in the consist of the Prospector above.

Beautiful FT set and passenger train! I am sorry I missed the boat on these.
On a Denver overnight I strolled into the station and saw some obviously modern coaches in these colors - the Aspen gold, silver, and black. In my recollection, the trucks were a little like Amfleet, with the discs on the outside. Have never seen photos - maybe I dreamed it?
Erik, Thanks for always posting these pictures from Key Model. Do you or anyone know much about this company? I'm assuming their products are targeted for 2 rail modelers? Any experiences with their products? I'm assuming no sounds, speed control, smoke, etc?
Thanks,
Todd
Typically brass models don't come with a DCC systems installed. Leaves options for the owner. I prefer ESU LokSound over any of the toy train systems such as DCS. I can place any system I want in these models with little or no trouble. I do not like smoke systems; and like most HO modelers smoke is not common and generally not wanted. I do however like the smoke systems on my 1 scale 1:32 Kiss and KM-1 models because they work exactly like the prototype. I currently choose not too install DCC yet and I'm glad I have not because they have evolved so fast for the better. The drives in these models are best money can buy today.
Those are some beautiful sets. It isn't often we get to see this caliber of models in person so your great photos are much appreciated.
OMG. Absolutely Love! Can't Stand it! Gotta Shoot myself over it! Pinch me to Wake me Up! Step on my foot and Pull Out my hair! Your trains rule to the MAX and make the Passenger Scene - ALL THAT!
All colors of the visible spectrum jealous here... I said it when we first met... I believed it then and now you gotta believe it too!! Your at the top of your game Erik!
Makes me smile and happy!
Couldn't happen to a better man!
Congratulations...Beauties all!!

You know, Erik, seeing these Key models is a huge threat to my model train slush fund. An associate of mine sent me a video of the CNW FT set on what looked like a factory test run and it nearly pushed me over the edge.

Thanks Erik. Awesome. Very inspiring works of art. The RG FTB has a steam generator, correct? And who did the Alco PB? At first I thought it might be there to simulate a Steam Generator car. Bill
