I just replaced a few old turnouts with new ones equipped with DZ1000s. I wired them for non-derailing. Is it normal for either the red or the green LED to light whenever a wheel contacts the corresponding isolated rail? I don’t mean when the switch first throws, I mean does it light for every truck that passes over the isolated rail?

Lehigh,

Did you install the diodes shown on the wiring for automatic non-derail?

I didn't install the diodes and don't think that I will. The lights don't bother me. I just wanted to make sure that I didn't screw something up.
