I have 2 Ross Switches with DZ 1000 switch machines.  I have them wired for anti-derailing and controled by an MTH AIU.  The LED's on the switch machine only light when a train passes across the isolated rail that I use for anti-derailing.  I spoke to Steve at Ross and he advised me to add the control buttons to the wiring as these will provide the necessary connectivity for the switch motor LEDs.  When I do that, the LEDs on the control buttons light but the ones on the DZ 1000 remain the same.  On the Z Stuff web-site there is a PDF that shows diodes wired to "prevent flickering".  Are the diodes what I need to add?  Without a schematic, it doesn't make sense to me that the diodes will solve my issue.

ZStuff also shows wiring resistors if not using the control button to keep LED's lit. That is how I do it and it works. You need two resisters per Z1000.

Thanks.  I found my issue.  I reversed the polarity on the switch machines to get the LED to match the switch direction.  What I didn't realize is I needed to do the same with the control buttons.  The buttons worked the switches but the LEDs didn't work correctly.  Swapped the wires and all is well.
